new start

So as what I planned, I was just going to ship my brothers bike to hawaii(he let me take the bike).

But things went way different after we went to search for a bike bag that I can put it in and do it as a check in luggage.
It came out as getting a new bike for myself.

Ahh... crazy

my mom said under $1000, but my eyes were all looking after the mid-$2000's

ah ha

I thought of getting a cross-country, but the good ones are really too fancy, and the price tags of the good ons are crazy too.

No road bikes, thats definitely a rule, cause all of them cost a fortune.....

So I went for an hybrid urban... a flat bar skinny tire bike, which the frame isn't that high, and the pedals has both clip-on and standard platform on the the two sides.

This one was $1599, ESRP $1799(both before tax)
can't really find one of these which is under $1500 and above $1000.

My Mom eventually gave me a choice, don't go back to Taiwan for Christmas and she'll pay everything now and let me pay back later for the $1000. Gosh, that's my ticket!

So I made the choice. No Taiwan this Christmas, but I get a bike!

I used to be a pretty intense biker, but after my old bike got stolen in 11 grade, I kinnda quit that habit and went into photography. My strength decreased a lot after that incident. Although I found my bike 9 months later on a online bidding page and got it back through the police, but still things was different from before.. And life got crazier and busier than before.. almost no time for anything except for applying for school. Eventually I sold my bike before leaving for college.

So right now I get a chance to restore the strength I had before, and I finally could do something on those boring Church Sundays when everyone is away to go chat with god(which is something meaningless to me) I plan on going biking around the island on the road. It will be super fantastic, cause after school ended this april, I've gained so much on my belly, and is approaching 150lbs right now, crazy!

Hmm, another thing to worry about, since it's a crazy good bike in school(comparing with all the others), I need a super heavy duty lock that is for sure....

missing something

I eventually have to send my Macbook Pro to fixthose minor issues.

It's easier to get it fix here rather than waiting till I get back to hawaii. Because it takes only 20 minutes to get to the nearest Apple Store, while in Hawaii it take over 1.5 hours even to reach it.

So, I sent it in on Saturday afternoon.

It has been 3 days since I sent it in.

Life is hard without it.
I gotta says it's really a pain in the butt(I'm try not to use bad words here) using a crappy windows pc as a replacement right now.

Nothing on the pc feels right, even while I am typing this blog.

Without my Macbook Pro around me, also means lack of the ability to process all the photos I took in Redwood National Park last weekend.

Sorry to disappoint you Brooke, didn't mean to miss the photo of the week thing we agree to do together.

Life feels like missing something when I don't have all of these things with me: my camera, my mac, my iPod with my earphones, my cell phone, and my Burt's bees lip balm.
Kinnda a big list. But it's what work on me.

Thinking on the bright side, when I get it back, it will be like problem free again.
A new LCD display pannel that will make it easier when editing photos without those anoymous gray spots, a new Superdrive hopefully I can burn CD's again, and a new touch pad with a fixed power switch that doesn't sinks into the case.

Wish me good Luck that I can go pick it up tomorrow evening in VallyFair.

It better be done by then....

Ashamed.

Sometimes, I feel ashamed of being a Chinese.

Watching those Communist bastards think that they can do anything they want.

the Beijing 2008 Olympics? Just a show case only.

the Olympics was supposed to be a event for all the athletics to compete with each other.

But now it turned into a Political tool to demonstrate your power.
Disgusting.

So a lot of times, I prefer that I'm a Taiwanese.

Belongs to the Republic of China.

not you disgusting Communist PRCs.
