Epic Failure

Went to a SanFrancisco Giants game playing the Phillies today.
Woke up at ten, feeling not so good, but I don't want to waste that 40 bucks for the ticket.
Oh yeah, rainy day. Rained all the way from home to the park.
But luckily the rain stopped after we got there.
Yup, Tim Lincecum pitching.
He was just dominant all the way, out pitching Phillies's Cole Hamles.

We had 4-1 lead on the top9th when Lincecum was called down for Brian Wilson to take over.

We thought we could swept the Phillies in the series.

We all assumed. We're naive. Everything went down from that point.

Somehow Wilson let the Phillies loaded the bases, Jayson Werth hit a 3 run double.... the game was tied.

Wasted Lincecum's 11K, the strong outing and everything...

Then we allowed another run in the 10th, but we got it tied again in the bottom of the inning.
I was basically falling asleep by that time...

Then 11th inning, they scored 2 runs made it 7-5. We tried to rally... but came short.... only scoring one run, losing the game 7-6.

Ugh.

I have no comments after that...

so it felt like I'm one step closer to be back on track

A Chinese metaphor says that if you haven't study for 3 days, it can be seen on your face.
Kinnda my situation here. I've been out of school for too long.(I don't really considerate community/junior college real productive because the fact that it leads me no where.)

Just turned in my application to transfer to Columbia College Chicago today. Not really "turn in" but I shipped it through UPS next day air, will be arriving tomorrow at Chi-town.

I didn't finish my essay till like this Sunday, kinnda crazy huh.
But glad that big stone in my mind in finally on the ground, solid.
Hope I didn't miss anything.
Now I just wish it comes back with a good result four weeks later.

Feels like I'm about to get back on track to finish my college once again.

btw I got the job at Godiva.

who wants chocolate?

the adventure for Zooey and She&Him

I should have typed this up a long time ago.
but eh. haha.

Anyways, to cut the long story short.
Went to a She&Him concert on the 15th at the Glasshouse in Ponoma, CA with Roxanne Miller®, finally getting to see Zooey in real life.

A three day trip, drove down(6hr) to Ridgecrest, CA. Stayed at Roxanne Miller®'s place. Went to the concert the next night, drove back to the bay area the morning after.

She&Him's performance surprised me, way better than I expected. To be honest, I think it sounded better live than on the CD(which is recorded in the studio)

Zooey's still Zooey as usual. I wish there was a girl in real life around me.(Daydreaming I am)

Hmm. that 12 house of back and forth driving was worth it.

(Plus I ate a ton of sushi on the way, ask Roxanne Miller®)

The Perfect Generation

I really think those youngsters(under 18) really sure can beat us in everything, including all those "cuteness" "nerdyness" on myspace/tumblr/WOW/HALO and etc.

I really think we're lucky enough to be born in the eighties and growing up in the nineties, resulting in a well balanced exposure between internet technology and traditional media/real socialization.
We can understand new technology and adopt to change, but not overly depend on it. We can still socialize traditionally face to face like humans, without the help of those instant messaging/text/facebook/internet stuff.

Because of those reason, that make us the perfect generation.

And yes, I'm talking about YOU, kid.
Turn off your computer now and go out talk with some real people!

Sprits and Conversations

I have to admit, for the past week, I've been visiting bars quite frequently.
Some beer, some high bar drinks with popcorn, and with all that comes with come great conversations with other people.

To be honest, it's a bit pricy, 3 dollar a drink is the cheapest I can find so far.
But had a few great conversations and meeting news friends.

Got smoked by people who smoke, eh, somehow I'm use to it. But cloths stink like heck when I got home.

Still trying to find a place for escape from all this urban/modern crap....
Seems like the city just never ends....

I dream like a back yard with a small hill and all grass plain .....

Or like the hundred acred woods in Christopher Robin's backyard, not all this concrete and metal.

Daydreaming....

I sill have yet to start on my application essay......
