So the past week in Utah...

As you know, it was my 21st birthday on Wednesday, March 3rd.

So I decided to take a week off from this crazy California life and head to Salt Lake City, to see some of the most lovely people I know on this planet.

A 12hr drive ain't that bad, just the fuel cost kills. Hey but it's still better than flying, and plus I don't gotta rent a car.
It cost me like $180 for the whole trip back and forth. A one way ticket there is like $150 something.

I spent the first 4 nights sleeping at Davis's condo.
It was pretty sweet, except the dog.

Spent the last night sleeping at Collette's basement(? OR FIRST FLOOR?)
Oh gosh I love her Mom. what a great mom Luann is. ha. ( maybe it's different not being the child)
Reed's a good brother to have too.

The Charles made a cake for me to celebrate me turning 21.
Got pretty drunk on that Wednesday night too, Collette's friend Benny took me out to a bar.
Sweet deal. He said I was dead funny when I'm drunk.
Ha.
Glad I did have some self control that night, didn't puke at all.
But that last glass of Long Island Ice Tea really kills. huh

Chatted lots with Collette.
Miss that girl so much.
She said she felt land locked here that she also felt out of place in Utah.
Kinnda the same thing with me in Cali.
Alyssa was still having withdraws after Hawaii, and then Jerusalem. Poor her.

Yes, I haven't seen Alyssa for more than a year. It's great to see that wonderful girl too.
Her newly developed tommy gun laugh is killing me. LOL
So funny

Met Collette's boy Travis.
Classic good boy.
A firefighter(In fact she just got his job on tuesday or wednesday?)

also met up with a tumbler friend, Michelle,Ryan Bagley's UVU good buddy in freshman year.
Crazy girl too.
THe only thing bad was that my car got booted while visiting her apartment that night cause I was late to the parking lot for 2 minutes of the 1:30am limit. It cost me $65, that also took my life away on the low budget trip. Screw you evil private parking lots.

For the rest of the time,
basically I just hung around the place quite much for the whole week.
I mean, thats just how I do things. I like to be around the people.

Left Salt Lake City on sunday early morning, aka 1am, said good bye to Alyssa and Collette. And then that was another 12hr driving back.

Weird thing is, when I got back to Mountain View, I felt that the place was different from before I left. That out of place feeling I spent so much time trying to depress, just suddenly popped out again.
It's just weird.
I don't feel like I really belong here in Cali.
Only just a week in Salt Lake City can make such a big deal. Hmm

I wish I can do good in chicago later this year for school.
Anyways.

What can I say, it was a good birthday.
Hope my wishes come true.
Wish this year can be a good one.
